About:
Currently the head racquet sports coordinator at Juniper Hills Country Club, Syd has over a decade of experience in coaching, facility management, & tournament directing. Syd was born into a local tennis family and had a racquet in her hand since before she could remember, becoming a back to back state champion, two time ISJ player of the year, and IHSAA interscholastic star award recipient. After going away to college at the University of Utah she came back to her hometown of Pocatello, Idaho and the local tennis community she loves. She became an assistant tennis coach at Juniper Hills, and the head tennis coach of Pocatello High School before handing off the head coaching position to pursue a masters in athletic administration from Idaho State University and take over as the department head at Juniper Hills Country Club. Syd is also a current PVTA board member. Syd loves giving back to the local tennis community by serving on the PVTA board, volunteering at tennis events, organizing fundraiser events for the Idaho State University men's and women's tennis programs, coordinating the racquet sports department at Juniper Hills, and tournament directing for the USTA.
